I've been trying to make an appointment for my son for months and they keep saying his insurance hasn't been updated to reflect the new doctors name even though 1, he has insurance and 2 he's been seen by this doctor twice already. Very, very frustrating that you all are denying Healthcare because of your lack of system connections with insurance companies.

Medical assistant was really rude. It's like she couldn't be bothered to do her job like I was an inconvenience. When you enter they don't even say hi or tell you what to do.

This is going to be a long one because I am just so upset: The care my mother has received at this practice has been very disappointing. She has Stage 3 chronic kidney disease and was never clearly informed of this diagnosis. When her previous doctor retired, she casually mentioned, “I don’t know if you know this, but we are watching your kidneys,” which was the first time my mother realized the seriousness of the issue. Since getting a new doctor, the level of care and communication has been extremely poor—from the nurses to the physician. Recently, my mother had very low blood pressure and called the office. A nurse told her she would speak with the doctor and call her back, but no one ever did. The next day she called again and was given advice by another nurse, but shortly after her blood pressure became very high. She called again and was told her message would be marked as a priority, yet she still never received a return call. The following day she called again and was once again told it would be marked as a priority, but no one followed up. Because of the lack of response, my mother ended up going to urgent care and received better attention there than she has at this pract

normally don't even write reviews on this place because my experience have been nothing but great but my daughter has been going here since she was born no problem she is now 7 years old and I am trying to make her a doctor appointment for a serious matter and getting the run around she was seeing dr pope but she retired so she started seeing dr el-sayed , now all of a sudden dr el-syed has to be assigned thru ins but ins even though we have a claim with her already I'm frustrated then saying it takes at least 45 days. which is crazy Ive never delt with this. front desk people are no help, I work at an uc and I always go above and beyond to help someone try and figure something out. they were no help at all.

I normally don’t write reviews but what I experienced today had to be mentioned. I was prescribed a new medication that I would have been able to get from my own pharmacy. However this refill cycle my pharmacy was not able to order them in enough time. So I was calling other pharmacies to see if I can transfer my script and get them filled here. I had called Henry Ford Woodhaven along with other locations and they didn’t have them in stock. I asked if any other locations have them in stock. The pharmacy lady said they had them at Henry Ford Livonia and she could transfer me. Once transferred, I believe I spoke to two people one of them being Victoria. One of them confirmed they have my medication in stock but only for their patients they see there. Which I found weird because Henry Ford is state wide! Regardless of where I am treated I am allowed to use any in-network Henry Ford pharmacy. If I am wrong I will happily delete that prior statement. Overall, if you wanted to get transferred into this pharmacy I would highly avoid them!!!
